EMNC Edgeworth Memorial Neighbourhood centre Inc is a community based development project which was established in 1988. The project works in partnership with the Dept of Community Services which provides funding for core projects. The centre is managed by a locally based volunteer Board of Management.

What is a Neighbourhood Centre ?

• A Neighbourhood Centre is a place for local people to become involved in a range of community activities.
• We provide information about a wide range of services and activities and provide referral to other agencies and services where appropriate
• We provide educational and recreational courses, activities and groups.
• We provide a meeting place for people to share skills and knowledge and to socialise with others.
• We provide a place where people can come to talk over a problem and gain support.
