Edgeworth Memorial Neighbourhood centre Inc is a community based development project which was established in 1988.
The project works in partnership with the Dept of Community Services which provides funding for core projects.The centre is managed by a locally based volunteer Board of Management
What is a Neighbourhood Centre?
A Neighbourhood Centre is a place for local people to become involved in a range of community activities.
We provide information about a wide range of services and activities
We provide referral to other agencies and services where appropriate
We provide educational and recreational courses, activities and groups
We provide a meeting place for people to share skills and knowledge and to socialise with others
We provide a place where people can come to talk over a problem and gain support.
